VMDS is Аccurate and robust machine for the most demanding working conditions. It boosts of High Precision and High Rigidity basing on its unique design and structural advantages. It is an ideal machine for multi-task machining of complex molds, automobile, aircraft parts and cases. It enjoys an especially superior advantage in die-mold machining. The geared headstock makes it also superb for machining of all type of materials from aluminum to hard materials like Titanium.Main machine bodies are designed with dynamic and FEA analysis. Reinforced ribs are adopted properly for optimum machine robustness, rigidity and stability. The structural parts of the machine have an extra oversized design, which gives the machine a very heavy cutting capacity and a very strong stiffness. Main bodies of the machine (ie. table, base, column, saddle, headstock, etc) are built with high rigid cast iron with lost foam foundry processing (LFF) and thermal annealing / vibratory stress relief (VSR) aging treatment. Wide section size of base, saddle, box-shaped column, full length load design feature the machine with heavy cutting capacity and high stability. Column is of rectangular shape with increased wall thickness for enhanced rigidity. Square slide guideways are induction hardened and precision ground. Tapered gib strips with anti-wear material lining are installed for easy adjustment and longer life. |
