Description
Bed
The bed is designed using dynamic analysis and FEA. Reinforced ribs are used for optimal strength,rigidity, and machine stability. The machine'sstructural elements are increased in size, providing very high cutting capability and extremely high rigidity. Major machine components (i.e., table, bed, column, tool slide, etc.are made from high-strength cast iron and thermally stress-relieved through annealing /Vibrational Stress Relief (VSR).
Turret and Driven Tools
Mills and other rotating tools can be used in both axial and radial directions. The BMT turret enables combination of turning and milling operations.
Guideways and Ball Screws
Ultra-rigid high-precision roller linear guideways and high-performance ball screws are used on X, Y, and Z axes, featuring low dynamic and static friction, high sensitivity, low vibration at high speed, no creep at low speed, high positioning accuracy, and excellent servo characteristics.
X, Y, Z axis servo drives are connected to high- precision ball screws through couplings, ensuring high torque power and high transmission accuracy.
Spindle
Enhanced reliability and rigidity through improved base and spindle motor assembly.High-rigidity gearbox design provides best-in-class power/torque for heavy- duty cutting conditions and optimal performance.
CNC System
The latest FANUC CNC control system is equipped with advanced and powerful functionality. In addition to ISO code programming, operator- friendly programming with an intuitive interface can be performed using additional software, i.e., Manual Guide Oi8l. It helps the operator generate part programs quickly and efficiently using powerful and comprehensive graphics packages.
