Description
Bed
The machine features a bed design with guideways precisely inclined at 30°. The bed is a monolithic casting with carriage slide and tailstock guideways located in the same plane, which helps reduce thermal deformation.
The tube-like bed construction with high torsional resistance, significantly reinforced with ribs, prevents twisting and deformation. The machine uses machined fine-grain cast steel iron casting, which provides excellent damping characteristics.
This design ensures increased rigidity and absence of deformation during heavy-duty cutting operations. The bed inclination angle provides easy tool loading, replacement, and inspection.
Spindle
The high-torque spindle is designed for heavy-duty cutting operations, reducing the number of rough passes and thereby decreasing machining time.
Additionally, machining performance is enhanced through the use of a Ribstar belt to minimize noise and belt slippage issues.
Turret
The turret is equipped with a high-performance AC servo drive, which increases machining reliability.
The three-piece coupling demonstrates excellent indexing performance. The powerful hydraulic tool clamping minimizes tool tip deflection caused by working loads.
Sub-spindle
The additional spindle is essential for the machine to implement rapid workpiece transfer and both-side machining in a single setup.
Tailstock
The tailstock moves on wide sliding guideways. The heavy tailstock body, large quill diameter, and precision Morse Taper with rotating center provide superior workpiece clamping rigidity. Automatic lubrication of the quill and tailstock guideways is included.
CNC System
The latest FANUC CNC control system is equipped with advanced and powerful functionality. In addition to ISO code programming, operator-friendly programming with an intuitive interface can be performed using additional software, i.e., Manual Guide 0i&I. This helps the operator generate part programs quickly and efficiently using powerful and comprehensive graphics packages.
